Keep On Keeping On

Its not easy to stick on healthy lifestyle while you're actually not really into it..Until now, I still have this 'diet' concept. I haven't really grasped that if this food will harm my body or "its a junk hey"..I still have this trying here and there (icip-icip) urge but I push myself to keep on keeping on..As Milton Garland once says "My advice is to go into something and STAY WITH IT until you like it"..

I 'Poisoned' My Body With Poison No. 1

Poison No.1

White Flour

What starts out as a "good" thing, whole grains, becomes something that is poisonous to our body through processing. Most of us are aware of what happens in the milling process. First the outer shell called the bran (fiber) is removed and is either thrown away or sold at a health food store. Then the germ, which contains all the nutrients is removed because it "gums up" the machinery. The remaining endosperm is ground into a fine powder, but because it is not pure white (pretty), then it is "bleached" with an agent similar to Clorox. But now it contains no nutrients or fiber and no one will buy a product without some "benefit". So the bread maker adds some artificial coal-tar derived vitamins and minerals which have been shown to cause cancer. Now he can pass this on to the public as supposedly good food because it has been "enriched"! Notice this has no fiber and no nutrition! This is only the beginning. There is much more information regarding what this flour does once it is in our system, specifically in the colon.

Weight Loss Facts

Low Fat Foods DON'T WORK.

You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

Low Calorie Diets DON'T WORK.

You will never won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt --- known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

Low Carb Plans DON'T WORK.

You'll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.
